The goal of this drill is to make the players run to the location of the ball and square up to the target in trangle 2 and then make a good pass.

Coach can first throw a tip ball to the players to a further location to make players run.
Then when players are used to the rhythm. We can change the ball location to right in front of the coach and return a spike.
While the player runs up to the location, coach can trick them by tipping just to make sure the player's feet are not planted, they should be leaning forward with their toes ready to move at any time.
